All outstanding device invoices must be paid by July 1, 2022. Students who have an active invoice at the time of the 22-23 school year deployment will not receive a device until payment has been cleared.
iPad damages may incur do to accident or negligence. Regardless of the issue, all damages or iPad problems should be reported to Mrs. Zimmer immediately. Student iPad damage costs are outlined in the Parent Letter on the 22-23 Tech Fee. The chart below provides detailed information about the devices used by the students of Iredell Statesville Schools, as well as an explanation of the insurance coverage. Instead of families receiving an itemized invoice for damages, they will be charged by the following fee structure (per year) for accidental damages:
Instance #1 - covered by initial tech fee
Instance #2 - $30
Instance #3 - $30
Each additional instance per school year will be $30
Damages not covered by insurance will be invoiced to the student at repair/parts cost.
Missing or defective chargers (including cuts or nicks on the cord) are not covered under insurance and will need to be paid before or at collection. If your charger is not working, please report this to Mrs. Zimmer immediately. Generic or off-brand chargers can not be turned in at collection. Chargers must be apple certified.
